Wednesday, February 5th, the Girls Varsity Basketball team had the special privilege of playing at game at Little Caesars Arena, home of the Detroit Pistons. Thought the Eagles lost to St.Catherine's Academy of Wixom 51-40, it was a fun experience for all involved.

Brynn Taliercio led the Eagles with 8 points, while Peyton Baer added 7 points. Aubrin Miller finished with 5 points, and Anna Linen contributed 4 points. Ten Eagles scored in the game, a bragging right that they'll have forever to share.

The Eagles host Milford today as part of the Girls-Boys Basketball Showcase. Girls play at 5:30pm, and then the Lakeland Athletic Department will conduct its Hall of Fame induction ceremony. The Boys will play at the conclusion of the ceremony, approximately 7:30pm.
