Friday, January 31st, the Girls Varsity Basketball team defeated Walled Lake Central, 54-27. Nine Eagles scored in the contest, led by Alena Tiernan with 12 points. Peyton Baer scored 9 points, while Claire Linen and Brynn Taliercio each added 7 points.
Lakeland moves to 11-3 on the season, 9-1 in the LVC. The Eagles' next game is a special one, as they will be playing at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit this Wednesday at noon (yep, no school for them that day). They'll be taking on St. Catherine's of Wixom.
