Tuesday, January 21st, the Girls Varsity Basketball team defeated Walled Lake Western, 53-20. The Eagles jumped out to a big 20-point lead early in the game behind an aggressive defense to led to some transition baskets.
Aubrin Miller scored 16 points to pace the Eagles. Claire Linen added 11 points, Peyton Baer had 6 points, and Kennedy Canterbury and Anna Linen each chipped in 5 points. In all, 9 players scored for Lakeland.
The Eagles move to 8-3 on the season, 6-1 in the LVC. They'll hit the court against Walled Lake Northern this Friday in another round of the Battle of Bogie Lake Rd.
