WALLED LAKE NORTHERN HIGH SCHOOL: 37
Wednesday, the Girls Varsity Basketball team defeated Walled Lake Northern 45-37 to advance to the MHSAA District Final.
Parker Ostach scored 15 points to lead the Eagles. Molly Marino added 12 points, Skylar Halbrook scored 6 points, and Alena Tiernan and Aubrin Miller both chipped in 3 points. The win marked the 3rd one of the season for Lakeland over Bogie Lake Rd. rival WLN.
The team advances to the District Final game where it takes on Milford, again for the 3rd time this season.
