Girls Varsity Basketball earns win over solid South Lyon team; Eagles move to 14-3 with 34-30 victory

Tuesday night, the Girls Varsity Basketball team hosted South Lyon in a battle for sole possession of second place in the LVC. The Eagles came away with a big win, 34-30, to avenge an early season loss to South Lyon.
The Eagles were down early in the first quarter, 12-2, but responded with a run of their own to cut the deficit to 18-16 at the half. The Eagles were focused and enthusiastic on the defensive end in the second half, eventually pulling away with a hard fought 34-30 victory. Leading the way was senior Parker Ostach with 10 points. Senior Molly Marino had 9 points. Sophomore Aubrin Miller had 7 points and junior Brynn Taliercio had 4 points.
The Eagles are now 14-3 (10-2 LVC) on the season and host Waterford Kettering on Thursday night. Go Eagles!
