Tuesday, the Girls Varsity Basketball team saw its winning streak come to an end as they were simply outplayed on the road at South Lyon. The home team defeated the Eagles, 45-22.
The home team Lions played with better energy and effort throughout the game, and they executed better than Lakeland did. That's usually a recipe for victory.
For the Eagles, Parker Ostach led with 7 points, Aubrin Miller added 6 points, and Maddie Borders finished with 3 points.
Lakeland, still holding on to a share of first place in the LVC, returns to the court next Tuesday when it hosts Walled Lake Northern for another important conference game.
