You can't have a sweep unless the first team gets the win, and that's what happened in the Girls Varsity Basketball game versus Milford last night, as the Eagles went into the Mavericks' home and defeated them, 33-25. The game served as the opener in the Girls-Boys Varsity Showcase double-header.
Molly Marino led the effort with 12 points, while Parker Ostach added 10 points. Skylar Halbrook and Aubrin Miller each contributed 4 points. Altogether, it was a night of solid execution on both ends of the court by the Eagles.
Later, the Boys team beat Milford, 35-33.
The Girls team returns to action this Tuesday with a home game versus South Lyon.
