Friday, the Girls Varsity Basketball team went on the road and defeated Waterford Kettering, 46-23.
The Eagles were led by Skylar Halbrook's 15 points. Molly Marino added 8 points, Brynn Taliercio chipped in 6 points, and Peyton Baer contributed 5 points. In all, nine different players scored for Lakeland.
The team will play its final game before the holiday break this Monday, when the Eagles will welcome the Eaglets of Orchard Lake St. Marys. The JV team will play at 5:30, the Varsity at 7:00pm.
