Tuesday, the Varsity Girls Basketball squad shook off a slow start and pulled away in the 4th quarter, defeating Walled Lake Central 37-20.
The Eagles used stifling defense and crisp offensive execution in a 23-6 2nd half run. Leading the way for the Eagles was Grace Goodnough with 12 points, Molly Libby with 7 points, Ashlyn Dostal with 6 points, and Summer Ambler with 5 points.
The Eagles move to 4-4 (3-2 LVC) on the year. The team returns to Lakeland for a home game against Waterford Kettering this Friday, January 14th.
