Couldn’t have asked for a better start to the Girl Basketball season as the Varsity team defeated Walled Lake Northern in exciting fashion, 38-37.

Junior Payton Grange hit a go ahead 3-pointer with about 10 seconds remaining to secure the victory. Leading the way for the Eagles were junior Molly Libby with 15 points, junior Grace Goodnough with 9 points, and junior Summer Ambler with 6 points (along with a great effort on the defensive end).

The JV team also won its game by one point; so,a couple of fantastic team wins to take the Battle for Bogie Lake!

The team is back in action this Thursday at home versus Clarkston.  Varsity tips off at 7:00pm.
