Tuesday, the Girls Varsity Basketball team traveled to league leading Waterford Mott for an LVC battle.
Mott jumped out to a commanding 15-0 lead in the first quarter. While the Eagles battled back to cut the deficit to 10 at half time, the early lead was too much to overcome in the end as the Eagles lost 45-21. Leading the way for Lakeland were sophomores Summer Ambler and Molly Libby with 6 points each.
Lakeland returns to the court on Friday, traveling to Walled Lake Central for a 7:00pm game.
