Last Friday, the Girls Varsity Basketball team traveled to Walled Lake Western for some LVC action. The Eagles lost to league leading Walled Lake Western by a score of 61-25.
The Eagles hung around in the first half but didn’t have enough fire power to keep up with Western in the second half. Leading the way for Lakeland was sophomore Molly Libby with 9 points. Sophomores Summer Ambler and Grace Goodnough along with junior Nevaeh Garcia each had 4 points in the losing effort.
