WALLED LAKE NORTHERN HIGH SCHOOL: 42
The Girls Varsity Basketball team hosted their Bogie Lake rivals on Tuesday night but were unable to get the win. Lakeland was in the game throughout but just couldn’t sustain a run to get over the hump as they lost to Northern by a score of 42-33.
Leading the way for the Eagles were sophomores Grace Goodnough with 13 points, and Molly Libby with 12 points. Sophomore Summer Ambler also chipped in 6 in the losing effort. The loss drops the Eagles record to 3-6 (2-5 LVC) on the season.
The Eagles are back in action on Friday when they travel to Walled Lake Western.
