Last night, the Girls Varsity Basketball team defeated South Lyon, 42-22, improving its record to 2-3 for the season.

The Eagles played well from start to finish in their first game of 2020. Offensively the team did a great job sharing the ball as 8 players scored tonight. Leading the way were sophomores Summer Ambler and Molly Libby with 10 points each, sophomore Grace Goodnough with 7 points, and senior Ally Lengers and sophomore Payton Grange each had 4 points.

The Eagles finish the week with a matchup vs our cross town rival, Milford. The Varsity team will play at home Friday at 5:30 as part of the Lakeland Athletic Department's Hall of Fame Night.  The Boys Varsity team will take on Milford later that night, following the HOF ceremony. Go Eagles!
