Tuesday, the Varsity Girls Basketball team lost a tough one to Walled Lake Northern, falling just short, 44-41 in an exciting game.
The Eagles, down by 10 points with 2 minutes left in the 4th quarter, cut the deficit to 1 point in the final 12 seconds, but some clutch free throws by the Knights secured the win for Northern.
Leading the way for the Eagles was freshman Molly Libby with a game and career high 19 points and sophomore Jenna Baer with 9 points.
The Varsity Girls team will travel to Milford tomorrow and play at 5:30 as part of the Girls/Boys Doubleheader.
