Thursday, the Boys Freshman Basketball team fell to an extremely hot-shooting Walled Lake Western squad, losing 54-32.
The Eagles trailed only by 6 at halftime, but the Warriors started off the 2nd half on a 7-0 run and never looked back. Conservative estimates have Walled Lake Western shooting over 60% in the last two quarters, a sizzling percentage at any level in high school.
Dylan Perinoff led the Lakeland offense by scoring a season-high 20 points on some pretty efficient shooting of his own. Gavin Johns added 7 points.
The team has two more road games next week to wrap up its season.
