The Boys Freshman team continued to show its ability to be competitive in every game, as it battled with Avondale until the final minutes of the game. The Eagles struggled in the first half, falling behind by 14 points.  But the 2nd half was different as Lakeland narrowed the lead to 5 points before running out of time…the final score was Avondale 52 Lakeland 47.

The Johns brothers led the way for the Eagles with Gavin scoring 14 points and Landon scoring 11 points. Jacob Sorvari added 9 points.
