In a rare, high-scoring affair that had to be exciting for the fans to watch, the Boys Freshman Basketball team lost to South Lyon East, 63-60.  It was a game with back-and-forth scoring, as both teams found ways to attack their opponent for easy scoring opportunities. Unfortunately, Lakeland converted on one less opportunity.

Austin Porcasi was an extremely effective press-breaker, distributing a number of assists to go with his 11 points.  Jacob Sorvari (17 points), Dylan Perinoff (12 points), and Wes Tobias (11 points) were able to capitalize on many chances in the paint.

The team returns to the court on Tuesday when it plays Waterford Mott for the first time this season.
