Friday, the Boys Freshman Basketball team competed valiantly against a strong West Bloomfield team, falling short in the last 4 minutes, with the final score ending up as a 53-44 win for the Lakers.

The Eagles were involved in a see-saw game, with each team making different scoring runs.  Nate Bronka led Lakeland with 16 points in two quarters of action.  Weston Tobias added 10 points, while Austin Porcasi and Dylan Perinoff each contributed 5 points.

The Eagles return to action Monday with their home opener versus Northville at 4pm.
