SOCCER JV EAGLES OFF TO A GREAT SEASON - BEATING WALLED LAKE NORTHERN
The JV 'Boys in Blue' were triumphant in this year's only Battle of Bogie Lake, beating Walled Lake Northern 3 to 0 in Lakeland's season opener at home.
No. 21 Ian Scarlett scored first off a corner kick by No. 5 Anthony Flevaris. No. 9 Ricky Beltran scored next making the half time score 2 zip. In the second half No. 17 Conner Kosidlo scored to put the game away, 3 to 0.
This victory comes off an 8 to 0 mercy victory just the day before in a preseason match-up with Farmington Hills Harrison High School.
