Thursday, October 3rd, the JV Football team defeated Waterford Mott, 28 - 14. Leading the way defensively for the Eagles -- Drew Alvis had 5 tackles including a sack, Sawyer Varner had 5 tackles, Wyatt Bohn had 5 tackles and an interception, Aiden Saunders a fumble recovery while Aidan Natwick, Blake Croll, and Nate Johnson played well from their defensive line positions.
On offense, the line consisting of Jack Kaspor, Domininc Schneider, Drew Alvis, Jacob Prater, and Kalen Scott played very well as the Eagles had over 200 yards rushing. Jax Schneeman touchdown runs of 45 and 38 yards, Leyton Olson ran for a TD, Ryan Bryngelson ran for a TD and threw a 2 PT conversion pass to Colton Fruytier, and Gavin Moore had a 2 PT conversion to round out the scoring.
The win moves the JV Eagles record to 4 - 2 and they next play at home vs. South Lyon on Thursday, October 10th.
