Thursday, September 26th, the JV Football team went on the road and lost to Walled Lake Western by a score of 19 - 16.
In what shaped up to be an exciting JV Football game after the Eagles were down 13 - 0 at the half, the players made some great adjustments and game up just short at the goal line as time expired. The defense led the way for the Eagles -- Drew Alvis had 6 tackles including a sack, Jacob Prater and Sawyer Varner each had 5 tackles, Wyatt Bohn had an interception, Jax Schneeman a fumble recovery while Reid Dial played outstanding in the defensive backfield. On offense, Jax Schneeman had a touchdown and two point conversion, Ryan Bryngelson had a TD pass to Colton Fruytier and also added a two point conversion.
The loss moves the JV Eagles record to 3 - 2 and they next play at home vs. Waterford Mott on Thursday, October 3rd.
