Thursday, September 19th, the JV Football Eagles went on the road to beat Walled Lake Central by a score of 34 - 6.
The defense led the way for the Eagles -- Drew Alvis had 7 tackles including a sack, Sawyer Varner had 7 tackles, Jax Schneeman had an interception, Chase Neher had 2 tackles, Vincent Fong recorded his first career tackle and Wyatt Bohn played a good all around game from his safety position.
On offense, the line continued their dominance as the Eagles racked up over 300 total yards of total offense. Malakai Sherwood had two touchdowns including an 80 yard kickoff return, Jax Schneeman had a 70 yard TD run, Brady Johnson had a TD, Sawyer Varner a 2-pt. conversion and Leyton Olson had a 55 yard TD run sprung by a key block from Colton Fruytier with Ryan Bryngelson adding a 2-pt. conversion to round out the scoring.
The win moves the JV Eagles record to 3 - 1 and they next play at Walled Lake Western on Thursday.
