Thursday, the Boys JV Football team, playing for the first time at home, defeated Divine Child, 20-0.
In the first half, Teagan Thorell put Lakeland on the scoreboard with an exciting 75-yard punt return. Later, Thorell added a 1-yard TD run. Braxton Godin converted both PATs to give Lakeland a 14-0 lead.
As the clock expired in the game, Sean Latham ran 19 yards for a touchdown, making the final score 20-0 Lakeland.
The Eagles are now 3-0 on the season with a match-up next Thursday at home versus Waterford Kettering.
