Boys Varsity Wrestling finishes 13th at Oakland County Championship; Andre Neumann wins the heavyweight division

Friday and Saturday, December 13th and 14th, the Varsity Wrestling team competed in the Oakland County Championship meet. As a team Lakeland finished 13th out of 35 schools. All varsity wrestlers won at least one match.
The highlight was junior Andre Neumann becoming the 2024 Oakland County Champion in the heavyweight category, defeating his opponent from Clarkston 12-8 in the final match. Sam Broome placed 8th in the 144 weight class, and Xavier Estrada also placed 8th in the 106 weight class.
