On Saturday February 11th, Lakeland participated among 13 schools at the MHSAA Division 1 District 2 individual wrestling tournament. 14 Lakeland wrestlers participated in the tournament and 3 qualified for the regional tournament by finishing in the top 4 in their weight class.

These are the regional qualifiers:

138 lbs- Mark Smith 4th place

144 lbs- Seth Zimmerman 3rd place

190 lbs- Jake Law 3rd place

Six other wrestlers came up one win shy of qualifying for regionals.

106 lbs- Jackson Rogers

113 lbs- Ben Rickard

120 lbs- Sam Broome

126 lbs- Matt Eblen

157 lbs- Aaron Viera

285 lbs- David Clayton

In addition these wrestlers had one win at the district tournament.

157 lbs- Vince Juhasz

165 lbs- Jordan Lancaster

The MHSAA Division 1 Region 1 tournament will be held at Hartland HS on Saturday February 18th.
