On Saturday December 10th, the Lakeland wrestling team participated at the Hemlock Invitational.

29 Varsity and Junior varsity Lakeland wrestlers competed. As a team, Lakeland finished 2nd with 114 points, right behind Midland with 120points. The 3rd place school was far back with 69 points. Lakeland had a top 6 place winner in every weight class.

22 Lakeland wrestlers won at least one match and 18 finished in the top 6 in their weight classes and won medals. Six wrestlers made it to the finals including two tournament champions: Seth Zimmerman at 144 lbs and Jake Law at 175 lbs. Lakeland wrestlers dominated the 175 lb weight class finishing in 1st, 2nd and 3rd place.

190 lbs- Everet Ross 2nd

215 lbs- Zach Sutherland 6th

285 lbs- David Clayton 3rd
