On Saturday Feb 27, the Lakeland High School wrestling team participated in a 4 team event at West Bloomfield High School.

It was a dominating performance for the Eagles who went 29-9 in individual matches and won all 3 dual matches raising their record to 9-5 on the year.
  
In Lakeland's first match they beat Romulus 65-12.  The Eagles won 11 of the 13 matches. 
In their second match they beat West Bloomfield 58-18.  The Eagles won 10 of 13 matches.  The highlight of this match was when Luke Jaworski came from behind to pin his opponent who was a state qualifier last year. 
In their final match Lakeland beat Royal Oak 47-21.  The Eagles won 8 of 12 matches.
