The Huron Valley Schools match up this year was at the top of the table Milford Mavericks home field. The emotional rivalry was a tough matchup for the Eagles. The Mavericks started out quickly earning several early corner kicks and restarts from the same corner. On one of the early restarts, goalie #1 Jay Hensley was able to block the shot off the crossbar, but unfortunately the ball landed at the feet of the opponents feet for an easy goal. Minutes later another direct corner was headed in for a second goal. The Eagles continued to battle and Jay made many other big saves. But the team was unable to create much in the way of chances that threatened the Milford goalie. Milford added a third goal off a restart in the second half and the game ended at 3-0.
