Boys Varsity Soccer opens season with 3-1 loss against Holly

August 19th: The season and home opener started off with a good start. A long ball from the right back #14 Thomas White found an open Striker #10 Gabe Wright. Wright was able to beat his defender and find the back of the net at 19 minutes into the first half. Unfortunately, Holly answered with a goal with 7 minutes remaining in the first half. Holly came back from intermission with additional confidence and added a second goal just four minute into the second half. The Eagles chased and tried to create new chances, but we were unable to level the score. Holly added another insurance goal and took the opener 3-1.
