The Boys Varsity Soccer team placed 6th in the LVC conference and were seeded against #3 South Lyon East. Earlier in the season, the two teams faced a 3-3 stalemate during the regular season. The LVC tournament opened on Sept 21st, so the Boys' team headed to SLE. South Lyon East jumped out to an early lead after a foul inside the 18-yard box and a converted penalty kick at 10 minutes in. SLE added a second goal 8 minutes later and went into halftime up 2-0. After halftime, the normal JV goalie, #23 Jay Hensley got an opportunity to play striker. Jay was fouled in the 18-yard box 16 minutes in and converted his chance from the penalty strip, making the score 2-1. Unfortunately, South Lyon East took advantage of the Eagles pressing for more opportunities and added 2 more goals. The Final score was 4-1.

The second round of the LVC tournament will take place on Sept 28th. Teams and Locations are to be determined.
