On Tuesday, September 13th, the South Lyon Lions came to Lakeland and showed why they are on top of the LVC standings. A very organized and quick offense scored two early goals and had a 2-0 lead at the half. With some adjustments and settled play, the Lakeland defense and goalie Alex Caines held off the constant attack. In the second half, the Lions added two more goals for the 4-0 lead. With 12 min left in the game, though, #11 Ryan Kientz took the free kick from 35 yards out and off the deflection, scoring the Eagles' only goal of the night. The Lions added two more goals and the 6-1 win.
