The Boys Varsity Soccer team faced a strong Groves team this past Wednesday to open up the 2022 Fall Sports season. Returning Coaches George Abuamsha and Shannon Samson have put together a great team of new and returning boys from all grades. A solid performance by Alex in goal with several quick reaction saves was not enough to keep the attacks coming. Our Eagles worked well on their chemistry and teamwork and create chances with several shots on goal in the second half but nothing got through the Groves defense. Glimpses of connectedness in the midfield are a great signal for what is to come this season. The final result of 4-0 was not a reflection of the gameplay which was much closer than the score showed.
