On Monday, Sept 27th, the Boys Varsity Soccer team celebrated 10 Seniors with Senior Night - 10 players from the class of 2022 playing their last regular season game, against our Huron Valley rival, Milford.

The game was marked by well matched, competitive play. Several chances on both sides, but it was late in the first half when #3 Anthony Flevaris fought through the Milford defense and scored the first goal, shortly before halftime. After the halftime, #7 Vassily Wade took his shot on net and put the Eagles up 2-0. Two unfortunate fouls inside the penalty area resulted in penalty shots that were too well placed to stop and the game returned to a tie at 2-2. Milford and Lakeland continued to battle with the Eagles taking shot after shot over the defense but were unable to get one through. The rivalry game ended in a 2-2 draw.
