On Thursday, 9/23, the Eagles hosted the top team in the LVC, Walled Lake Central. Once again, rain factored into the game, this time with a cold breeze on the field too. The boys held the ball well and made several chances at goal, but at halftime, the score was still 0-0. Once halftime resumed, the rained slowed to a cold mist, but that did not stop their determination. Both teams took shots from all angles, but couldn't get on the board. That is until Central worked one deep into the goal area and faced the goalie one-on-one. A tough shot with 12 min left from WLC proved to be the difference. While the rain let up, the Eagles continued to fight for more chances, but unfortunately came away with another tough 1-0 loss.

On Monday, 9/27, The Eagles celebrate Seniors Night against Huron Valley rival, Milford. This will be the conclusion to the Lakes Valley Conference season and the Eagles will start their playoff campaign on Wednesday.
