Monday was Senior Night for the Boys Varsity Soccer team, and the Eagles celebrated the night by defeating Milford, 2-1.  All nine seniors and their parents were recognized at half time: Jacob Wojchiechowski, Rio Miki, Adam Guliana, Carter Filipiak, Alex Marcelli, Zach Grabczynski, Colin O’Neill, Jeremy Balzer, & Bennett Elwood.   It was extra special that Coach Anthony started all nine!  Lakeland also recognized the seniors from Milford. 

Senior Zach Grabczynski got the scoring started for Lakeland with a beautiful shot from the right side of the field off of an equally beautiful cross by senior Alex Marcelli in the 5^th minute.  With 6 minutes to go, senior Adam Guliana scored the game winner off of a left footed shot from the left side of the goalie box.  Lakeland was leading at halftime, 2-1.

30 seconds into the second half, the game was called because of fog.

Next game is Wednesday against Northern in the semifinals of the Lakes Valley Conference Tournament.
