Last Thursday, the Boys Varsity Soccer team defeated Waterford Mott, 3-0.

The story of the game was Kyle Scott's hat trick, accounting for all of Lakeland's scoring.  The Eagles dominated the play, maintaining most of the possession the entire game.  Kyle scored his first in the 15^th minute, with a through ball played by Adam Gulliana.  Lakeland continued to play keep away the rest of the half, making Mott chase the ball, but they had problems in the final 3^rd with only a few shots on goal.  At half time, the score was 1-0.

The second half was better for the Eagles. Kyle scored his second in the 53^th min, with an awesome play by the Eagles.  Goalie Jacob Wojciechowski punted the ball from the goal box to Lucas Theaker who then headed the ball over Mott’s defenders to Kyle, who blasted it past Mott’s goalie.  Kyle sealed the game off a Rio Miki asset with 7 min left in the game, to complete his hat trick.

The team hosts Clarkston Monday night.
