This was a hard fought game which ended in a 1:1 tie as Lakeland took on Walled Lake Central at Central.  The first half was played at a blazingly fast pace with both teams looking for the homerun ball over the top, neither team had much ball control.  Central scored on a fortunate deflection half way through the 1^st half to take a 1-0 lead.  By the end of the 1^st half Lakeland had settled down and was controlling the play,  resulting in several great scoring opportunities that were thwarted by WLC's goalie. Lakeland controlled the play most of the second half, but Central made it a very physical game receiving 6 yellow cards and a red card (with 3 min left), while Lakeland only received 1 yellow card.  Lakeland tied the game with 5 min to go; Lucas Theaker scored off of a goalie deflection, after a hard low shot by Kyle Scott.  Lakeland is still in the running for League Champion, please come out to support the team at Milford next Tuesday.
