This past Friday, the Varsity Football team defeated Walled Lake Northern, 27-14, thus earning the privilege of keeping the Battle for Bogie Lake trophy.

Tate Farquhar threw for 2 touchdowns, going 12/18 on pass attempts for 182 yards. Farquhar also rushed for 76 yards and a touchdown. Evan Percin rushed for 95 yards and added a touchdown as well. Reed Jabiro added 39 yards on the ground.

Defensively, the Eagles had an interception by Jackson Campbell, and sacks by Dillon Gacki, Caden Calhoun, and Dakota Schultz. Leading tacklers were Schultz (6, 2 for loss), Trey Rowley (6, 1 for loss), and Derek Johnson (2 for loss).

Lakeland is now 5-1 for the season. The Eagles will travel to South Lyon East for a game this Friday night.
