Friday, the Varsity Football team won a pivotal LVC match-up against a talented Waterford Mott team, defeating the Corsairs, 35-28.

On offense, the O-Line played well, opening up holes for Lakeland's rushing attack.  QB Tate Farquhar led the ground assault with 194 rushing yards and 4 rushing TDs.  Evan Percin added 104 rushing yards, and Reed Jabiro scored on a 6-yard run.

On defense, Chase Curry had an interception at a crucial time in the 2nd half, while Dillon Gacki and Lucas Kaleto recorded sacks.

The win sets up a HUGE match-up this Friday as Lakeland hosts fellow undefeated South Lyon as part of Homecoming Week.  Fans are encouraged to arrive early in what should be a fantastic battle for first place.
