Saturday, September 21st, the Boys Cross Country team competed in the Jackson Invitational, one of the premier events of the early part of the cross country season. The Eagles placed 6th in a race that featured several of the top-10 programs in the state.
Gavin Johns set a new PR of 16:07.57, finishing 29th overall on his way to leading the Eagles across the finish line. Jacob Kosidlo, Michael Nivala, Ayden McDonald, and Matthew Verellen to complete the scoring runners for Lakeland.
