This past Saturday, the Boys Cross Country team traveled to the Blue Jay Shepherd Invitational to compete against a variety of teams. In the varsity race, Pierce Grzymkowski medaled in 29th place and Ryan Ward ran a personal best time of 16:08 to claim a medal for 39th place. Rounding out the varsity scoring was Gavin Johns, Noah Tiernan and Matthew Verellen. Also running in that race was Jacob Kosidlo. He pulled off a new personal best time of 16:54. The squad placed 4th overall.

In the JV race, two Lakeland runners also earned medals. Brenden Humitz ran personal best time of 17:24 to claim 11th place and Gabe Mahler ran 17:38 to take 17th place.
