Saturday, the Boys Cross Country team competed at the Jackson Invitational.  The field was loaded with top-15 ranked schools.  In the end, Lakeland finished in fourth place.  Leading the way was Pierce Grzymkowski placing 11th out of 245 runners in a time of 15:48.  Our next four scoring runners were sophomore Gavin Johns (39th place in 16:29), Ryan Ward (42nd in 16:33), Matthew Verellen (43rd in 16:33) and Noah Tiernan (50th in 16:41).  Our top 10 runners all recorded personal best times.
