This past Tuesday, the Boys Cross Country team competed at the Northville Mustang Invite, an event comprised of two races: a senior-junior race and a sophomore-freshman race.

In the 12th-11th grade race, the Eagles finished in 5th place. Pierce Grzymkowski led Lakeland by finishing 5th as an individual at 16:25.20. Matt Verellen (20th), Noah Tiernan (21st), Ayden McDonald (27th), and Michael Nivala (38th) rounded out the scoring for the Eagles.

In the 10th-9th race, Lakeland placed 7th led by Brenden Humitz (9th, 18:16.9). Landon Johns, Dylan Strand, Michael Zaremba, and Justin Witt rounded out the scoring for the Eagles.
