Tuesday, January 7th, the Boys Varsity Basketball team used defense and rebounding as the pathway to a victory over South Lyon East, 47-34.
Nsikan Usen led the charge on defense and the boards as he pulled down a school-record 25 rebounds (Mike Bolling 23 in 1988) and added 11 points and 3 steals.
Chase Carson came out on fire from the outside hitting 3 first half 3-pointers on his way to 15 points. Hayden Cross contributed 11 points 4 rebounds and 4 steals. Cole Bromley added 5 points while leading the defensive effort with 3 steals of his own while defending their top scorers.
The Eagles improve to 6-3 (3-2 in the LVC). We travel down Bogey Lake Road on Friday to face Northern in a showcase night with the Girls starting at 5:30 followed by the Boys at 7 PM.
