Boys Varsity Basketball ends season with 48-45 loss in MHSAA District play; Andrew Turnquist sets single season scoring record

Last Wednesday, the Boys Varsity Basketball team's effort to move forward in District action fell short as the Eagles lost to Milford, 48-45.
Owen Mladenoff led the Eagles with 12 points, Andrew Turnquist contributed 11 points and 9 rebounds, Nsikan Usen added 10 and JT Wheeler had 7 points and 4 assists while not turning the ball over. We finished the season 13-11. In the game, Andrew Turnquist passed Gary Gleason's (1980) single season scoring record of 493 points, Turnquist finished with 504 for the season. We would like to thank our seniors Jacob Ansorge, Caiden Glennie, Owen Mladenoff, Andrew Turnquist, Nsima Usen and JT Wheeler for a great 4 years and you will be greatly missed.
