Tuesday, the Boys Varsity Basketball team defeated South Lyon, 67-63. It was a game filled with offensive fireworks early on, and the scoring continued til the very end.
Andrew Turnquist led Lakeland with 27 points. Nsikan Usen had 13 points, while Owen Mladenoff added 12 points. JT Wheeler had 6 points and 8 assists for the Eagles.
The team improved to 10-7 for the season, 8-4 in the LVC. Lakeland will play at Avondale this Monday, and then host Waterford Kettering on Tuesday (game postponed from Thursday).
