Tuesday, the Varsity Boys Basketball team grinded out a big win against Waterford Mott, defeating the Corsairs in a physical and defensive battle, 42-37. 

Double-double machine Andrew Turnquist scored 29 points and grabbed 16 rebounds to lead the effort. Nsikan Usen provided great energy on both ends, contributing 7 points. Meanwhile, Owen Mladenoff continues to be a defensive stalwart, locking up the opponent’s leading scorer for most of the game.

With the win, the Eagles continue to have a say in the outcome of the LVC race, currently standing in 2nd place with two other teams.  They’ll have a chance to strengthen their position on Friday as part of the Rivalry Showcase double-header at home versus Milford.
