Last Tuesday, the Boys Varsity Basketball team renewed its rivalry with Bogie Lake Rd. neighbor Walled Lake Northern, and as usual, the game lived up to all of the rivalry expectations, with the Eagles ultimately winning 57-51 in an overtime thriller.

The Knights, down 3 points, forced the overtime period by knocking down a 3-pointer in the last 10 seconds of regulation. But, despite the dagger moment, the Eagles responded in overtime to snag the win.

Andrew Turnquist had 27 points and 15 rebounds to lead Lakeland.  JT Wheeler and Cole Bromley each contributed 10 points.

With the win, Lakeland moved to 7-4 on the season, 5-1 in the LVC.
