Friday, the Boys Varsity Basketball team found itself finally on the winning side of a close game, going into Milford's field house and defeating the cross-town rivals in the final 30 seconds of the game, 35-33.

Andrew Turnquist had 14 points and 11 rebounds, while JT Wheeler added 12 points and 3 assists.  Owen Mladenoff was a selfless teammate who dedicated himself to giving the team his best defensive effort. It was a solid team win in front of an enthusiastic and spirted Blue Crew.

Lakeland moves to 5-4 on the season, 3-1 in the LVC.  The Eagles return to the court on Tuesday with an away game at South Lyon.
